Expensive is easy. Quiet is not.

The default idea of a luxury interior in India is more — more gold, more marble, more chandeliers, more of everything visible.

We work the other way. The money goes into the things you feel rather than the things you count: a solid door that closes with weight, a stone slab with a book-matched vein, joinery with a shadow gap instead of a beading, lighting layered so no bulb is ever in your eye, and materials that age into something better.

The result photographs less loudly and lives far better. That is the point of it.

Where the budget goes

What actually makes a home feel expensive.

In roughly the order we would spend it, if the budget had to stop somewhere.

  • Proportion & planCeiling heights, door heights, the width of a passage, the size of a window. Nothing bought later fixes a mean plan.
  • Lighting designLayered ambient, task and accent lighting on separate circuits, with warm colour temperature and glare control.
  • Bespoke joineryFull-height doors, shadow-gap detailing, book-matched veneer, solid edges, concealed hardware.
  • Stone & surfaceSlabs selected at the yard, veins matched across a counter, edges detailed rather than bull-nosed.
  • TextileLinen, wool, cane and cotton in the right weight. Upholstery makes or breaks a room and is usually under-budgeted.
  • Art & objectsSpace and light planned for the pieces you own or intend to buy, not a decorator's filler.
  • AcousticsSoft surfaces, door seals and ceiling treatment so a large room does not echo like a lobby.

What is the starting budget for a luxury interior?
For a genuinely premium specification — veneer, stone, bespoke joinery, imported hardware and lighting design — plan from around ₹3,500 per sq ft of carpet area upward. Below that we would honestly steer you to a well-made mid-premium job rather than a thin luxury one.
Do you design villas and farmhouses outside the city?
Yes. We work on second homes and farmhouses around Nashik and beyond, usually as architecture and interiors together.
Can you work with our art and furniture collection?
Gladly — it usually improves the result. Send us photographs and dimensions early and we will plan wall space, lighting and sightlines around the pieces.
How involved will we need to be?
More than on a standard project, and it matters. Expect slab selection at the yard, upholstery samples in your own light, and a mock-up of key joinery details before production.
