A flat is a storage problem with a view.

Almost every Mumbai home we are called into has the same two complaints: there is nowhere to put things, and the living room feels tight.

Both are layout problems, not decoration problems. We solve them on paper — full-height wardrobes with a loft that actually gets used, a bed with hydraulic storage, a TV wall that absorbs the shoe rack, a dining table that folds against the wall on weekdays. Only after that do we choose a laminate.

The result is a home that stays tidy without effort, which is the real luxury in a city where square footage is the most expensive thing you own.

What is the cost of 2 BHK interior design in Mumbai?
A basic but well-specified 2 BHK fit-out typically runs ₹6–10 lakh; mid-premium with better finishes and more storage runs ₹10–18 lakh; above ₹18 lakh you are into veneer, stone, imported hardware and bespoke joinery. The variables are carpet area, how many rooms you do, and whether civil work is included.
Can I do it in phases?
Yes, and for many families it is the sensible route. We design the whole flat once so nothing has to be undone, then execute in phases — usually kitchen and master bedroom first, second bedroom and living later.
Do you supply furniture and appliances too?
Built-in joinery is ours. For loose furniture, appliances, curtains and decor we prepare a specified shopping list with sizes and options at three price points, and can procure on your behalf if you prefer.
What about false ceiling — do I need it?
Not everywhere. It earns its place where you want concealed lighting, where you need to route an AC duct, or where the slab is uneven. In a small bedroom, a simple peripheral cove often does more than a full drop ceiling and costs a third as much.
How much storage can a 2 BHK realistically hold?
A well-planned 650 sq ft 2 BHK usually gets to roughly 220–280 cubic feet of enclosed storage without feeling like a warehouse — two full-height wardrobes with lofts, a storage bed, kitchen tall unit and loft, and a TV wall with closed shutters.
